After my in-laws gifted all of us these delicious holiday treats a few years ago, I decided I had to keep them on hand year-round.

______

Dark Chocolate-Dipped Sugared Orange Slices

Makes the perfect homemade gift!

I'm not the kind to waste space in the kitchen, or in a recipe post! Enjoy it now, without the scroll:

Ingredients

1 dozen organic oranges
1 bag extra dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup raw sugar
2 Tbsp coarse sea salt

Instructions

Wash oranges well and set aside. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut oranges into thin sliced rounds and place on parchment. Lightly sprinkle rounds with raw sugar and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Next, melt half bag of extra dark chocolate chips in a shallow bowl. Dip each orange round into the melted chocolate, coating generously, before setting back onto parchment. Sprinkle with additional raw sugar or coarse sea salt, to taste. Finish all rounds. Place sheet of finished rounds into freezer to set for at least 20 minutes. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
